Hello names Alex and I’m from Wisconsin. Just ordered a 18 inch grab bag from these guys and WOW am I impressed. So I’m relatively new to the gun world but have been taught how to buy good parts from a seasoned vet. Although this build is my for fun gun and tribute to the movies that inspired me to pick up a firearm a space gat if you will. I wanted parts that could be swapped on to a duty build and to military spec if needed. I was hesitant of buying from a company that isn’t as big as Daniele defense,Geissele, or lower mid tier companies like palmetto. And wow I’m glad I took the risk with Mid state. These dudes are not a known name however the people that do know them have had nothing but excellent things to say about them and customer service. This company is growing however that’s what I like about them. They still have the time to put the extra effort to making sure their customers get quality, from tooling, to alignment of hand guard,barrel and gas blocks. This 18 inch .223 wylde upper is excellent for the price I paid for it. Which was 250 and after looking and carefully inspecting all parts my buddy said he believes the value of this upper to be anywhere from 350 to 400 dollars. A excellent mid tier piece. This barrel is heavyyy duty. It could easily handle rapid fire,full auto (if the atf didn’t blow) and probably preform better than some of the known brands out there. These dudes clearly love what they do and that is shown in every part of this build. The BCG and charging handle I bought separately slid in like butter and didn’t catch on anything. Buy from this company you will not be disappointed. My buddy who owns top brands even said he will be placing some orders with these guys in the near future. That should say a lot. A hidden gem in the AR community. 500 rounds in (2 years) , not a single problem. Compared to a Delton I have, quality is worlds apart. Their Nitride BCG glides like silk and their barrel eats 62grains like they are cereal. In addition, despite assembling and disassembling every screw and bolt like 4 times (to paint, for fun, and to initially build) the parts are pristine and show no sign of stopping. Super quick response time, and I have trouble understanding how they make money when every singe component is quality crafted works of art, as well as being covered. I recommend especially for CA, MD, and MA residents who have restrictive laws, as if you contacted them during your order, they will go out of their way to make adjustments to make sure your rifle is in compliance. For example they will make a Heavy Barrel with straight fluting, with the finish you want, cheaper than the cheapest criterion barrel but at lower cost. I even one point dropped the rifle from standing height, and next time I sent to the range, it still was shooting tighter than I could see with a 6x scope. I am planning to do my "ultimate" build for a 14.5 PW soon as I save up some money, and I will be sourcing from them again. Why go for PSA, SW, or radical when you can get $1000 quality for the same price, and know that it was manufactured by people who actually care.

Full disclosure, I haven’t shot it yet but intend to very soon. Shipping was extremely fast. Their customer service is prompt and they go above and beyond. Beautiful, cleanly machined upper rec’d w/in days of order. Can’t wait to take it out and come back to update. Thus far, I love em though and would recommend for future builds. They etching is a really cool addition they offer. Thanks team!

Got an upper from them and it arrived before I was expecting. They've have easily the best ship time I've seen. Got it sighted in with zero issues.

The customer service is amazing, above and beyond. Zak, one of the great guys who works there, helped me a lot and answered all my questions. Even when I shipped the package to the wrong address, he went to the post office and retrieved it personally.
