Berger Elite Hunter bullets are made with the longest possible Hybrid ogive (nose). Elite Hunters utilize the same industry-leading Hybrid ogive as our Hybrid Target bullets, the #1 choice of nearly every competitive long range shooting discipline, but with a thinner J4 Jacket that allows rapid expansion on game. Hybrid Ogives have a very aggressive VLD style shape towards the tip of the bullet, but transform into a traditional tangent shape closer to the bearing surface, allowing for higher BCs while still being very easy to tune and much less sensitivity to seating depth. The long-nosed hybrid profile that the Elite Hunter projectiles are designed with produce the highest possible Ballistic Coefficients in an easy to load and shoot bullet. As a result, when loading this bullet into Berger Ammunition we are able to get results that are on par with hand loads when it comes to accuracy and performance.
